The second semi-final of the 2024 series of Gladiators saw many viewers have a good laugh at an excuse Legend pulled out to explain his poor performance in a game.

Legend went up against contestant Wesley in 'The Edge' game letting him past a few times on the high-up platform before knocking him down.

Speaking to presenter Bradley Walsh to explain his relatively poor performance the gladiator claimed he was affected by a recent sad event in his life.

Legend went on to say his pet rabbit, called Tina, had died, and appeared shocked at the audience laughing asking what was wrong with them.
