A NEW business consultancy is aiming to create an innovative transparent business model when it comes to advising companies on new equipment.

TBA Group, owned by Alex Hutchinson, specialises in document output but also provides a range of office equipment, including service and maintenance.

The Bury-based company, set up after researching the market for six months, says it offers a new way of looking at advising companies by eliminating conflicts of interest as well as offering an independent supply of multi-functional office equipment.

It plans to initially target companies in the North West with between 50 and 500 employees. Mr Hutchinson said: “It was quickly identified that there are a number of conflicts of interest within the industry standard model and, based on this, I realised there was a better way of doing things and started designing a business to suit, which eliminates all the conflicts of interest. TBA Group has already set up five new business meetings with large organisations in the North West to discuss this unique model.

“All five agreed this was a great way of working and the five meetings resulted in two future projects being agreed and a review starting straight away for a £30 million turnover business. TBA Group is targeted on delivering cost savings and not selling equipment. It only implements the right solution for their business and provides the right equipment at the highest levels of discount.

“We want to be recognised as the right choice for transparent business advice when reviewing office equipment spend, throughout the North West.

“I am delighted to be nominated for the awards as it will help raise awareness of my company and proud of the fact that we give impartial, transparent advice to our customers.”
