RADCLIFFE director Danny Boyle could win another haul of trophies after his latest film received 11 nominations at the Baftas.
The 52-year-old is up for the best director award for ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, which tells the story of an impoverished Indian teenager who becomes a contestant on the Hindi version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. The film has also been selected for the best film, adapted screenplay, cinematography, editing, music, production design, sound, and outstanding British film categories.
Its stars, 18-year-old Dev Patel and Freida Pinto, are up for the leading actor and best supporting actress awards. News of the nominations at the British Academy Film and Television Awards came just days after Slumdog Millionaire scooped four awards at the Golden Globes.
He is now hotly tipped for success at the Oscars, with nominations due to be announced tomorrow.
