An investigation is underway after a teenage off-road biker was allegedly seen “swerving in between traffic and driving on the pavement".

Police say the biker, believed to be between 12 and 16-years-old, was seen on Stand Lane, Radcliffe at around 6.20pm on Monday, March 5.

Officers say that the biker only narrowly avoided crashes.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for information regarding an incident which occurred at approximately 6.20pm on March 5 on Stand Lane, Radcliffe.

“A red and white off-road bike was observed driving dangerously, swerving in-between traffic, without lights, and driving on the pavement at speed too.

“The driving was dangerous, and they narrowly avoided collisions.

“The driver was wearing all dark clothing, and a green or black jumper.

“They did not have a helmet on.

“The driver is believed to be between the ages of 12 and 16-years-old.”
