Rising bands are set to showcase their talent in Bury on Saturday.

NGUVU and Britizen Kane will be playing at Bury Art Museum at 2pm, a gig which is part of The Met theatre's Emerging Showcase programme.

They will be combining jazz fusion, rock, funk, soul, and hip-hop in their performances.

The gig will be performed in the current exhibition space Rooms to Live, created by artists Derek Tyman and Andy Webster at the museum.

The bands will also feature new songs produced in response to the exhibition and, in a first-time collaboration will perform some songs together.

Rooms to Live is an extensive 14-week exhibition featuring large sculptural installations, a programme of live performances by artists and musicians, workshops, screenings, talks/panel discussions and artists/musicians residencies from emerging bands in the North West.
