A programme of fitness classes will begin in Radcliffe after the closure of the town's temporary leisure centre last month.
Members of Bury Leisure can join new classes as part of the ‘Fitness in Radcliffe’ timetable, starting today, Monday, January 8.
Classes are being held at the St Philips Community Centre, Radcliffe, whilst work continues to build the Radcliffe Civic Hub with new leisure facilities.

A spokesperson from Bury Leisure said: “We want to do all we can to continue to support the wellbeing of our Radcliffe members and customers and help you to stay active.
“Starting in January 2024 we will be providing an ongoing programme of fitness classes at St Philips Community Centre, Higher Dean Street.
“There's no need to book - just turn up and if you're a member, remember, it's included in your membership”.

The community centre has a car park at the front of the centre for up to 10 to 12 cars and free on-street car parking surrounding the centre.
The 524 bus services also stops on Bolton Road, with a 4-minute walk to the community centre.
The first class will be a Strength and Balance, held from 10.30am to 11.15am and priced at £3 per session for non-members.

The former Radcliffe Leisure Centre, situated on Spring Lane, closed on December 10, to make way for the new Star Academy Radcliffe which will open in September for its first intake of pupils into Year 7.
New state-of-the-art leisure facilities will be built at the Radcliffe Hub, where demolition work on existing buildings is well under-way.
Once work has been completed, the new leisure centre is expected to have two swimming pools at in the centre, a 25m, six-lane main pool and 17m x 10m learner pool.
The pools will have an integrated moveable floor designed to Sport England specification and 150 spectator seats.
Whilst work continues, alternative leisure facilities are also available at Castle Leisure Centre in Bury and at Ramsbottom Pool and Fitness Centre.
