A woman, whose death has sparked a murder investigation, was found to have had multiple wounds, an inquest has heard
The inquest into the death of Suzanne Galvin, opened today.
The 55-year-old, of Pear Avenue in Bury died at Salford Royal Hospital on Monday, September 18 after paramedics were called to her address on Saturday, September 16 at around 9.35pm.

Police Coroners Officer Cathy Skelton said: "Paramedics then alerted police and it was found that Suzanne had fallen down the stairs and had multiple wounds to her body."
The inquest was told Ms Galvin was an unemployed care assistant and was single at the time of her death.
In a tribute to Ms Galvin, her family said: "Susanne was greatly loved by her parents and family and will be sadly missed."

Stephen Ball, 31, of Pear Avenue has been charged with her murder and has been remanded in custody.

Coroner Julie Mitchell set a possible inquest date at Rochdale Coroner's Court for December 18 and gave her condolences to the family.
