EVERYTHING was certainly "ship-shape" when a popular Bury nursery held a party to say farewell to youngsters leaving for school.
To mark their final days at Fisherfield Farm Nursery, youngsters who will be starting school after the summer holidays either dressed up as pirates or princesses during a special leaving party.
Sherryl Barratt, manager of the nursery at Bury College, said: "Between 15 and 20 youngsters will be leaving us and they dressed up, either using homemade costumes or ones which we had. Each child was given a certificate and we also played party games."
Fisherfield Farm Nursery, which caters for up to 55 children, has been at its Bury College site for the past 10 years.
